@edm2189 only a narcissist parent would do that because narcissists do things to gain "good" points, not because they actually care about being good and figuring out what good even means.

@bobjames6622 that sounds like tunnel vision and only feeling safe imagining the worst outcomes, not logical thinking. does the idea of hope scare you because it's not a certainty?
