@jasonk6321 The vast majority of those who emigrated to Russia after the start of this phase of the war did so voluntarily. Those who were evacuated to Russia for safety have been free to travel thru the RF even on Ukrainian documents and exit the country to an EU country. Ironically, this is not the case for Ukrainian men of military age...they can't leave Ukraine.

@geofflepper3207 What it is exactly that you disagree with regarding my post in this particular thread. Even the NYTs propagandistic report on Ukrainians who were evacuated to Russia shows that such people can freely travel, on Ukrainian documents, to a border with the EU. What people like you fail to understand is that many people in Ukraine speak Russian and feel Russian. They naturally left for Russia during this phase of the war, and many had left previously. So many in fact that I know of at least two occasions that the anti-Putin site 1420 interviewed people from Donetsk just from a random selection off of the streets of Moscow. And in fact I listen and read all sorts of stuff, from the Pro-Russian/Pro-Donetsk 'citizen reporter' Patrick Lancaster to the virulent anti-Putin propaganda outfit Popularnaya Politika, to the intelligent anti-Putin journalism of Redaktsiya. What I can't stomach anymore is the Western media, which is not only propagandistic but incredibly ignorant.

@haemse Having lived in a country which attacked another country for dubious reasons, losing thousands of young men (mostly, some women) and spending tens of billions of dollars, I can tell you that it's totally possible for life to go on more or less normally. Yeah, I'm US Amerikanner.

Gas in California is still over 5 ,except Costco, where it's ,4.99

@HandsomeMK The west stripped Russia in the 90s, Russia doesn't want a repeat vis "color revolution" launched from Ukraine
2
@HandsomeMK Because Europes economy is tanking and tens of thousands of Ukrainian men are dying

@haemse I know we get to invade with zero consequences except to our combat troops...who, like Russia's, are generally from rural ot poorer areas.

@kkpenney444 Maybe look into the reality of the Euromaidan events, and the subsequent war on ethnic Russians who were tired of ultranationalist Ukrainians from the west and their refusing to accept any pro-Russian politicians.

@kkpenney444 if a "much larger" population of "Ukrainians" wanted the Russian hostile state envisioned by Right Sector and Poroshenko, Yanukovich never would have been elected and western money and direction wouldn't have been needed to support the fake revolution. Putin did help the people of Crimes free themselves from Kiev but in Donbas it was literally a handful of ethnic Russians from Russia and thousands of working class people from the region who fought and are fighting for freedom.

NATO and western supported 'color revolutions' are a threat to any independent country.

@jasonk6321 I doubt you have family there. Even western media reports show that people have made there way to the borders. The anti Russian channel 1420 just at random has interviewed several people from "Ukraine". The only people held are suspected military or militia (Azov type) members. Stop believing Western/,Ukranian Propaganda uncritically.
