  1. Watching this Python hunting video I kept wondering why the hunters did not kill the snakes outright once they got hold of the head, either by chopping it off or crushing it. I admit to be totally ignorant regarding snake anatomy (I live in a cold, snake-free country), wondering if there was a reason to keep them alive, and constantly battling them until they are finally killed and skinned? All was soon revealed: The is Florida, where "Florida Man" lives and DeSantis rules. Apparently it is up to bureaucrats if pythons live or die! For supposed "small government" advocates, it is astounding how Repugnicans strive to micro-manage virtually every aspect of their constituents lives! I predict there is an explosion waiting to happen, where guillotines will be rapidly built and Floridian Repugnicans will be treated like the French aristocracy was treated over 230 years ago - by disgusted Floridians this time around.
