  1. What is being described here are the initial death throes of US democracy as it has been perceived until now! Call me a pessimist, the fact remains that when a minority has managed to lie, cheat and steal their way to power by thwarting the will of the vast majority of the population, said minority is in for a glorious period of unchecked power, a Hitler/Nazi moment of a decade or two that will end with them all eventually being hung up by their balls, their necks or facing a firing squad. Some centuries ago, French aristocracy went the same route, ending in a Guillotine frenzy. Bottom line: When a minority abuses their power like the Repugnicans/Trumpzis are aiming for, they are inevitably heading for a sticky end.
