No airport is safe from a Patriot with a front-loading musket.

She is obviously intelligent, astute and appears very principled - and she is beautiful as well! She is simpky running on her own agenda and apparent integrity, and seems to avoid denigrating potential opponents with personal attacks. Way to go, Alexandra. This is hopefully a glimpse of the future of American politics...

The only thing palatable about this was watching the Blond Monster squirm when faced with the unvarnished truth.

The problem: The US is populated by too may idiots and somehow these idiots have managed to place too many of their corrupt representatives in power (Trump, Moscow Mitch, Miller, Barr, Kavanaugh, the list is endless). The health care workers abused by these idiots should ideally be able to deny helping those idiots when they are eventually brought in, dying from catching the Corona virus, but that would be going against everything they (the health care workers, NOT the idiots) stand for.

JFK did this - he broke down huge numbers that have no meaning to individual members of the public, into numbers that the general public can really relate to and understand. This methodology really shines a light on the corruption that is ongoing in the military-industrial complex, and partly answers the classical "How do you pay for it?" gambit. AOC is awesome!

The "victim" appears to escalate the situation by arguing heatedly instead of simply showing is ID, which would have defused the situation instantly.

84% of US Americans trust scientists regarding the pandemic BUT up to 25% of 'Muricans trust Trump to give accurate information. I wonder what the ration would be if you asked this question in any other country. The result would probably be close to 100% for scientists, 0% for Trump?

The good news: He has not fired his weapon on duty - yet. The bad news: According to these statistics, he is an explosion waiting to happen. If US police put any effort into good police practices and culture, this guy might be counseled and actually be turned into a good, even-tempered cop, but with the current police culture he is likely to eventually unlawfully kill someone - so behind a desk is where he belongs, for the good of the public as well as himself.

As far as I know, Meghan Markle is mixed race, she is not purely "black" as some would have it. One wonders why the US media keeps calling her "black" simply because she has quite a lot of African genes. Personally I find this silly, there is a simple and straightforward way to end this racial BS: Everyone shagging everyone for a number of generations, and we'll all have skin that tans nicely. Problem solved, we're all one race...

Do Repugnican 'Leaders' think Texans are idiots? Apparently so and, to add insult to injury, it seems they are correct!

Can you imagine if all politicians, everywhere, were like this guy? Honest, up front and unafraid the be the bearer of bad news? Someone you can really count on to be truthful! The world would be a much, Much, MUCH better place!

Oh, the joy and FREEDOM of everybody exercising their right to bear arms in public. What can possibly go wrong?

Let's see what country will lie in ruins in, say, 6-12 months. I suspect the US will be a case study in how NOT to respond to a global disaster. The US will definitely no longer be the most influential country on the globe, just like Putin intended.

The US actually WAS a role model for European countries 60-70 years ago and we learned A LOT from you, things that we are actually enjoying today. 40 years ago you elected Reagan as your president, and it has been downhill ever since - and the slope is getting steeper and slipperier for you year by year. You seem to have forgotten to follow all the lessons we learned from you. Pity.

"No one, even the President" should read "No one, ESPECIALLY the President, should be above the law"

The Parmar "investigation" might possibly be concluded around 2030? Probably Standard Operating Procedure. Is there any doubt that too many US policemen are arrogant and often fatally dangerous bullies. The sad part is the fact that while the majority of US policemen are good cops just trying to do their job well, they end up being completely irrelevant because they do not stand up to the bullies. As a result, they deserve to be tarred with the same brush.
1
While 80-90% of cops in the US may be sensible and well-meaning people, they have a minority of stupid and even cruel Gestapo-types that have ruined the image of US police, which is fast becoming the most hated, reviled and despised profession in the US. The reason? The "god cops" apparently do not have the wisdom or courage to stand up to the bullies and actually stamp out the bad apples whenever one "comes out of the closet", resulting in the entire police force being stigmatized, and justifiably so.
1
Are US cops handcuffing and arresting 6-year old CHILDREN? What kind of sicko perverts does the police force look for when recruiting in Orlando, Florida? And what about the School authorities - did someone REALLY call the police on a 6-year old that misbehaved? The utter and total depravity of US society really turns my stomach - and these perverted creeps have the temerity of calling themselves Christian!

To Repugnican Senator Joni Ernst: If what you are seeing with your very eyes is not "facts" enough for you, you need to have your head examined, and you should be declared legally blind, never to drive any vehicle again.

The most inane response was the "If everybody has something for free, who's gonna pay for it?" The short answer is EVERYBODY is going to pay for it EVEN THE RICH! It is amazing how brainwashed too many 'Muricans are. The middle-aged blonde bimbo is a typical US stereotype: "I don't believe our government should be responsible, individuals need to be responsible, they need to have a job that provides for those benefits". Fat lot of good THAT is going to do during Trump's Covid debacle. Unemployment (with the associated loss of heath insurance) is already greater than during the 1929 depression, and that is saying a lot. Worse, the disaster is just beginning. You ain't seen nothing yet! Actually, how various nations are doing regarding Covid all over the world is in many ways a reflection of their health care system, and the US is a total, unmitigated DISASTER!

This whole episode would have ended instantly by showing e.g. a drivers license. In this particular case the Black father was the one to needlessly escalate the situation.

There ARE too few rich Americans like him. He is correct, the current system is not sustainable, the only question is: Will the change be incremental and peaceful via the ballot box, or will it be quick and violent (the metaphorical "pitchfork" calamity).

She did not "win" $400, she only avoided being scammed out of $200 and since this particular cop was not not one of the 20% Gestapo-types in the US police forces and could see the absurdity of the situation, he allowed her to avoid the speeding ticket as well. In many countries speaking on the phone while driving is illegal unless you are using a hands-free phone, and actually TEXTING while driving is a criminal offense.

Unfortunately, the US seems to be populated by too many ornery idiots. The vast majority of US citizens are smart, common-sense people, it's the surprisingly many idiots that are a stain on the country.
