@lepetitroquet9410 GDP fell by less than expected in 2022, the IMF is projecting growth for 2023 and 2024 (and even more than for the UK). As for the "dramatic" budget deficit, the deficit I'm assuming you are talking about was for the month of January and not actually the full year, so it doesn't actually mean much in itself. And, seeing as Russia's war machine is still chugging along (allegedly the target of the sanctions) and Russia apparently doesn't have to open washing machines for chips, your claim that the sanctions are working are laughable.
