  1. I had visited Russia a few times and studied Russian history before & after visits. Long personal story no one wants to hear about. I thought I knew Russian mentality. And I do for a few people. But I also found situations that were just 'messed up'. I'm thinking now I have barely scratched the surface. Most of the country is 'messed up'.
