Those home prices are nominal dollars. What happens when you adjust for inflation in real dollars. Prices are down. Its not like we are in a near zero percent inflation environment like we were the last two decades.

@HappyandBlessed-wj7gc you do understand that real estate, prior to the 1940s was a deflationary asset, right? That moment in time, where real estate held value or even grew in value vs inflationary pressures is done. Which again has nothing to do with the monetary value of a thing adjusted for inflation. Hence my nominal vs real point. But perhaps you dont know what that is. Thats ok. Why do you like your own posts?
