You could just as much as cheap buyers dont want to pay full price for a house. You act like getting the most for asset is a crime. Is housing overvalued right now, yea I think it is. But I dont begrudge a owner for selling the asset for what they can, its the fool buyer who is at fault.

@1Skeptik1 Housing prices didnt decrease then because the boomer demand inflated everything. We dont have that today. In fact, boomers are leaving the market, 29 percent of baby boomers have died and 44% of all US home owners are boomers. And as they inflated everything when they entered, as they exit it will deflate.

I think it depends on how bad this recession will be. If it hits hard quickly we will see more home buyers unable to purchase anything and more homeowners forced to sell due to not being able to make their mortgage note.
