California wont have a foreclosure wave. They have already made that choice politically. If they allow homes to be foreclosed on it will cause a drop in home prices and therefore tax revenue that the state and municipalities just couldnt survive. Its going to happen there regardless, but covid sped things up by about 5 years. If you live there and wont leave, you really need to prepare for that.
