  1. This sounds like a good debate for engineers. I love that style of historic building, with all of the rustic touches. The massive octagonal fireplace is fabulous!! Not sure how it compares in size, but we love the Ahwanee in Yosemite. And while it's a more recent build, the Inn at Disney's California Adventure is also gorgeous, with stone, wood, and stained glass. And while it's nothing special in most of the country, it snowed yesterday over the Hollywood sign!
