Scottie dog by the front door. Great room with wood paneled fireplace. Turret & diamond window panes. View of the river. All great. The flow is a bit odd (noted comment about butler's pantry now a bathroom), and kind of a lot of stairs up and down. It appears to be on much higher ground than what I see across the river. Would it be above high-stage flood level? These things are scary to me. High and dry here on a granite hillside. A fun tour, Ken.

@ThisHouse Thanks! Nice to look over the rooms again. The lay of the land near rivers really varies. Our San Diego river runs past a shopping mall (which it flooded back in the early 80s) on its way to the sea. I've read a lot about the Oregon Trail, and Pony Express routes, and what it took to cross the Missouri, the Platte, and the Colombia. It's fun to see other parts of the country and learn the history. History & House Nerds Unite! :)
