This campaign is the first time in her life she's not shielded under the DEI umbrella. She's been handed everything on DEI grounds, but you can't be handed the Oval Office. You have to win it, which you do by winning months worth of verbal contests. And since the odds are very high that she'll flop at that, she's playing the odds.
