  1. In a poll two weeks ago by the Leger Group, Canadians were asked to consider the current party leaders and say which of them "would make the best prime minister." Only 16% (!) said "Justin Trudeau." He's gone. Oh, he's so gone.

  2. He's not popular. He only got 33% and 32% of the vote in the last two elections. But popular vote isn't how the winner is chosen. There's an Electoral College-type thing (at the district, not the state/province, level). It's better to win districts by a small margin than to have more votes but they're spread out geographically.
