@nigel6584 Can you provide your fact checked evidence and sources that show there is no famine in N Korea and everyone gets all the food and nutrition they need? I'll wait ...

@flyingsword135 Which study said this? Provide your source.

@connorscanlan2167 the book and research you posted to by Haggard prives my point. The analysis shows the mid-90's famine cost up to 1M lives and was directly due to the tyrannical govt and ways the country is run. Thank you for the link. The research is now 16 years out of print and i am confident the situation has not improved.

@pregnantyellowfish Your statement is factually incorrect, either through ignorance or deliberate lies. US entered WW2 in December 1941. After Japan bombed Pearl Harbor as well as orher Asian aggression. WW2 ended in August 1945. So not last minute. In Europe in December 1941, the Axis piwers were advancing well into Russia. Clearly your knowledge of history is very poor. US entered WW1 in April 1917 - war ended November 1918. 18 months later. You know nothing. Assuming i am American is wrong also.

@michellelewis3063 Who said they had no education? You are aware both countries have had help and support from both USSR/Russia and China? USA has provided food aid to N Korea.

@mlund9301 Yes, i did further in the comments. You're welcome. The Georgetown Journal, an academic article, was particularly clear and illuminating on the issues. Edit: Your poor use of English grammar will upset your trainers. You should look into how you use ARE and IS.

@Comments-eu3cb What amazing "whataboutism". Are you able to stay focused on the actual argument or do you always try to deflect your points away?
2
@Comments-eu3cb I did? Nothing ti do with me. Love how you are so desperate to defend your dictatorial regime. So none of the infrastructure building up the cyber army could have helped the starving population? None, it is all the rest of the world's fault? How many millions has the US given in food aid? Is youtube freely available to the population of N Korea? If not why not? Why are you so afraid of freedom

@Comments-eu3cb Avoiding answering any of the questions i ask is a cowards response. I reply to yours - all of rhe reports from inside NK show it is not fine. Their own government has said there is a "food crsis." They receive food aid from China. At least do some basic research before responding. Edit: Just seen your 2nd comment, which makes little sense. Again, you appear confused now talking about the US again when the discussion is on North Korea. Loosing the plot much?

@Allynism100 Then show me your evidence the western media's claims are "way out of proportion". He also said it was woke media. How is reporting on a dictorial regime woke?

@connorscanlan2167 Nor sure what study you were looking at, but the articles and study i read on line showed clearly the N Korean dictatorial govt is to blame for the famines. You are desperate for confirmation bias. Your 1959 report is invalid as evidence as it does not show anything on the modern study. The other evidence is now 16 years out of date and was research from the mid-90s. Where is your current fact checked evidence and sources? Anything from the last 15 years?

@redpipola As you are aware getting ant teliable newscon N Korea is extremely difficult due to rhe dictatorial rule there. However, BBC report dated 14 June 2023 Residents tell of neighbors starving to death. Website 38North Dated 19 January 2023 Food Insecurity in N Korea is worst since the 1990s famine. Georgetown Journal of International Affairs January 18 2023 N Korean Food Security and Rural Development Strategy. States there is "a self declared food crisis since 2021". Whilst there might not officially be a famine, people are still starving to death there and the situation is not improving. I can provide more examples if you wish.

@Comments-eu3cb It is a great shame the investment into a cyber army is not put into feeding the people os N Korea. Something the people actually need.

It's an amazing coincidence how many 1st time comments there on here and all defending N Korea. Almost like it is coordinated.
