@Thunderbyrd. Exactly. If you treat a Cop like you'd treat a doctor, lawyer or other professional, they appreciate it. Keep your hands in plain sight, don't get sarcastic and don't announce that the Court is in session.

@randallsmerna384 "Oh please, you think the cops are going to leave it at that? You're delusional?!" I have real world experience that it goes that way. Let me introduce you to the idea of a negative guarantee. If you act like you made a small boo-boo, most of the time you get left in peace. If you act like Perry Mason you get hassled or worse.

@Dubby407 "Lol you think that would actually work?" Most of the time, yes. Cops don't like to look shitty.

@gotham61 "You have a 4th amendment right to not identify unless you have been legally arrested" In 26 States in the US that's not true. In 24 States it is true. Are you feeling lucky?

I think that the Cop got the dog stirred up... freaking out Cop dogs upset people. Me, I want to play with a dog who acts this way.

Exactly. Been there, done that, no t-shirt. Cop a Sov Cit attitude and you get the patented Sov Cit treatment.

@rikityrik "We don’t know the cops attitude when the encounter started" Who cares about the cop's attitude? Handle it!

@gotham61 "The park closing restriction is a local ordinance, not part of "the penal stature of this state", " The issue was described in more detail in "(725 ILCS 5/102-15) (from Ch. 38, par. 102-15) Sec. 102-15. "Offense". "Offense" means a violation of any penal statute of this State. (Source: P.A. 76-1796.)" From Illinois Gov site. Note the term "any", but do local authorities have the power to write "penal statutes"? Illinois municipal code 65 ILCS 5 limits the penalties of ordinances to misdemeanors, such that penalties are under 6 months in jail or $750. (this citation is from another Illinois Gov site). I think that your objection requires more review. I am not sure if you're right or not.

@Deanzphx "so you're saying 26 states interpret the constitution falsely?" Depends upon how you define "unreasonable search and seizures".

I have had this happen to me. I gave them my license. They checked me out. Asked me to move on. I never heard about it again. Police are allowed to stick their nose into your business when you break petty regulations.

@Dubby407 First ten seconds he was already acting up. Cops notice people who gets defensive. They start to wonder what else you're up to doing. Brian stepped on his own dick. Rather than get up off of it, he started to stomping. I live in Appalachia. We are awash in parks. Every park has the rules posted in clear English. When park is closed you best be beating feet.
