  2.  @kamladoodnauth2378  why are the buses late? Let’s see, there is something called “traffic”, there’s something called “weather”… AND…there are also late buses due to staffing issues. Drivers quitting. Not very many drivers are going to want to stick with a job where passengers are verbally and sometimes physically abusing them. I don’t know if you keep up with the news (I’m guessing you probably get your news only from TikTok) but there are bus drivers who have actually been stabbed, shot and sprayed with pepper spray. Yeah, and you can thank that worthless district attorney Alvin Bragg for always dropping charges against these horrible people and allowing them to walk and continue abusing others. Does that answer your question?

  15. I live in Chicago and I’d estimate about 25-35 percent of the riders don’t pay their fare. Ironically the problem seems slightly worse on the buses. You’d think it would be worse on the trains since people boarding buses have to pass right by a CTA employee.
