@Daniel-jv1ku well the first reason Mexico wants open borders is because they don't have enough jobs for their people, so by allowing them to leave they basically make them America's problem. Mexico's economy is also heavily dependent on foreign remittances (meaning, money that Mexican citizens living and working in the U.S. wire home to family and friends in Mexico). The lamestream media will try to downplay the percentage or dollar amounts but don't be fooled - remittances are a huge shot in the arm for Mexico's economy (especially when the dollar is strong against the peso which it usually is). For the U.S. it's the opposite effect. Money being earned here isn't being spent here. It amounts to a transfer of wealth.
