  1. People living on the streets don’t WANT help. They won’t stay at a shelter, because shelters don’t allow alcohol or smoking or druggs, so they choose instead to sleep on the streets. Most of these people would refuse any assistance offered to them (other than cash).

  5. It was the Liberal ACLU that sued to end institutionalization. It all started with the case of O'Connor v. Donaldson , 422 U.S. 563 (1975). This caused a chain reaction of mental hospitals shutting down. Liberals never take responsibility for this and they instead blame Ronald Reagan.
