 @SaintGerbilUK someone snapping on you once is not abuse. It's a rare occurrence. Abuse is habitual. Abuse is a good reason for an at fault divorce.

And many people think no fault divorce is the worst trade-off. Probably because of all the broken homes and fatherless children Left behind. A divorce doesn't just affect the couple. It affects their children too.

And that is still fault. Abuse is fault. The argument here is no fault. If you're claiming the other person is not at fault for the divorce why should they give you anything? You're the one choosing to leave. You should get nothing.

As it literally has. The divorce rate skyrocketed once we allowed no fault divorce. People get married over and over and over again now. Most families in this day and age are broken. And we act like that's a good thing.

If you want out of the marriage why should you take anything from it? You're the one dissolving the marriage. Not your partner. She should have filed for an at fault divorce not a no-fault divorce. But because she chose a no-fault divorce I'm going to judge her for it. Don't get me wrong I'm also judging Steven. But no fault means you've decided you want to end the relationship. I don't care about what's actually going on in the relationship if you choose no fault divorce. Because you're saying it doesn't matter.
