@bcbp14 As do many American's we've recently learned. I don't take the virus lightly but our embracing of Chinese style heavy hand terrifies me.

@hellooutthere8956 Until things get really bad, can't imagine German Jews under the Nazis wouldn't have chosen to shoot it out in the streets, at least in hindsight. IDK if they had an inkling of what was to come but I bet some would have fought had they been well armed. Far better to go down fighting than slaughtered naked in a gas chamber.

@bcbp14 Particularly disgusted with my own Commifornia. If it weren't for the natural landscape that I'm so attatched to: Pristine High Sierras, giant redwoods, and all the rest (credit to Left leanings for helping preserve those with the glaring exception of fire mismanagement)--I'd be looking to move to a freer state. I literally can't tolerate flatlands, depressing to me, plus I grow everything from apples to avocadoes, not many places I can duplicate that.

@bcbp14 I'm in farther NorCali where we lean Republican, not that I personally ever aligned with R's either but they sure look better now. I'm more Libertarian which often puts me at odds with both parties, but Dems especially today for obvious reasons. That we are not happy here in the North, with the results of 40 yrs of Dem dominance, has driven the sort of silly but understandable move to carve off the North as the state of "Jefferson". Good luck in Florida! I like their style recently. :D

@carrierichardson6619 Is there any hope for us? :D I enjoyed having Newsom on the hot seat for a while but unfortunately we failed to kick him to the curb. I suffered a lengthy radio advertisement from Newsom days before the election tally--his biggest claim to fame? "I mandated that all health care workers be vaccinate." Kid you not, apparently the majority here thrives on authoritarianism. We did create Reagan, politically speaking, before my awareness of such things.
