@nathaliedaceus8654 because there's a suspension on evictions you think this is communism 😂🤣 . How exactly is the property publicly owned there nate? You'll still get sued if you're under contract and evicted . The people don't suddenly own all property and their apartments because the gov put a moratorium on evictions 😂😂 wtffff so silly
2
@ladycheyne5607 naive to think capitalism will correct anything for the better.
2
@tingli9823 also I just want to point out nyc landlords have been screwing millions of ppl for decades . People living in a closet and you're worried about the Lord not getting rent on the 35 million dollar building . If you go read the entire law there are stipulations, you must be making minimum payments etc I believe there are atleast 5 stipulations. You can not just shut down jobs and allow evictions.
2
@tingli9823 you're acting like you know what you're talking about... Telling people to get an education when you're ACTUALLY WRONG.!!!!!!!!👌 " state governments may, in times of emergency or otherwise, reallocate hardships between private parties, including landlords and their tenants, without violating the Takings Clause ."[53]
2
@tingli9823 this is what courts have ruled .🤷 I knew when you said communist in first 7 words and used it several times you wouldn't ever understand.
2
@tingli9823 " The court rejected the argument that the NY moratorium "has foisted exclusively upon landlords the burden of rental issues" because "state governments may, in times of emergency or otherwise, reallocate hardships between private parties, including landlords and their tenants, without violating the Takings Clause ". This was the courts ruling. You thinking it's communism to not allow evictions is way off

@tingli9823 first of all the wealth gap is highest in usa above all g7 countries. So to think that something doesn't need to be done is naive. You agree that it's not a bad thing to not evict during the pandemic so what's the problem then? Research has found that evictions lead to significantly more coronavirus cases and deaths in an area. You're making this about your fear of communism that's my point. Usa isn't going to become communist by having eviction protection during a PANDEMIC lol it isn't the same as communist moratorium . The communists never protected renters from being evicted during a global pandemic this is right wing propaganda. I don't believe the texas ruling is even correct. Wow you don't say the texas ag sides with the land owners and businesses wow didn't see that coming... Come on.Texas isn't exactly leading the way here they almost just lost the entire power grid to the temperature going down.
2
@tingli9823 You're fear mongering about communism and putting money and property above life. The emergency order merely POSTPONES and does not permanently deprive landlords of property or certain rights. This has nothing to do with communism (which you must've said 10 x )and everything to do with the GLOBAL pandemic and saving lives and trying to stop the spread. Is no surprise the Trump-appointed judge in Texas will not care about the pandemic and always side with land owners and corporations at any cost to the people. Again Moratorium only is a suspension of a law and landlords still can sue if you're under contract. You must also be making minimum payments there are other stipulations if you look into the rules and this only applies to residential evictions . "" a]lthough nonpayment proceedings have been suspended, [landlords] can still sue their tenants for arrearages through a breach of contract action in the New York Supreme Court — and the fact that is not their preferred remedy is of no moment [and they still can] bring eviction proceedings for reason of nonpayment once the order expires, a right preserved by the portion of the [New York moratorium] that extends the relevant statute of limitations for the duration of the court closures " See Executive Order 202.28

@tingli9823 btw I think the texas decision will be basically overturned with the new Covid relief bill in congress when it's passed. No offense but I think you don't get how serious the pandemic is. Even if 1% are affected what's 1% of 328 million? We have 500 k + deaths and you're more concerned with communism and 1 out of what 10 thousand nyc landlords not getting rent for awhile.
2
@tingli9823 I have more money than you would believe guy. You think I wanna eat the rich😆? The fact remains the gov forced jobs to close. You don't need to make this personal but go for it idc. I respect your opinion but you cannot force jobs and businesses to close and allow evictions. Force me to end work then force me evicted , great idea. Had they not had protection then what? Would you care about people living week to week being evicted for having their job shut down? What's the actual number of ppl in usa living week to week ??? It's insane the amount of ppl living in poverty. The research stated that evictions increases the spread . Usa isn't going to become communist because of a pandemic, this is so funny to me sorry if that upsets you . I hear the right using this narrative to put business and property above life always.. You assume everyone is just not paying cause they don't have to. What are the actual statistics... Do you know because seems like you assume and we don't know ? How many people are going to be evicted today in texas because there is not a single mandate anymore? How exactly have landlords lost everything? They still have the building and property correct? Yet because they can't evict they lost everything???? Righttttttttttttttt. They collect money on a building ... Lol .

@toddwilson626 umm you're wrong. Do you know what comorbitie means? When hiv kills people from an infection do you say aids didn't kill that person the infection did? No lol. You say they died from hiv . So why do you do that with covid? It's stupid af but go ahead. Even if only 1% die what's 1%, of 328 million ppl? We have more us citizens dead from covid than ww1 ww2 and vietnam all combined and it's leading cause of death above cancer and heart disease but tell me again it ain't no thang.👌
2
@toddwilson626 so dumb. If someone has aids catches a virus and it kills them the virus did kill the person, even if they have every disease known to man. Just DUMB
2
@toddwilson626 someone with cancer gets shot by a gun you be like they died of lung cancer👌 that's your freaking logic
2
@tingli9823 all you do is make assumptions about me. Like it even makes a difference." Lol". This is what people do when they need to attack something besides the argument out of frustration. . This is what children do so who is the real adult???..Who cares how old I am and how much money I have?👍 Whats that have anything to do with conversation ? As if that makes your point more or less valid if I'm poor or rich or of I own wall st or sleep under it. You're saying I'm a child while just character attack in that entire comment nothing else... L.o.l . IDC tbh. Do you wanna talk about the money I have or moratorium ? Facts remain more people would've been affected had they allowed evictions.23 percent of all households above age 55 reported no or only slight confidence in their ability to make the next month’s payment. Deferred payments isn't communism and it's not unconstitutional it's capitalism if anything. Banks offer extension payment deferrals, refinancing and will not report late payments resulting from forbearance to credit bureaus. Mortgage holders aren't losing everything ,they have plenty of options. Freaking fear mongering with you is on another level .If the government was doing theses things without the pandemic then we have a problem. I'm never going to agree with someone who is putting property and money as the priority over community's safety and life. Take it personal idc
2
@toddwilson626 the recovery rate is between 97% and 99.75%. so only 1% die right... what's1% of 328 million? Only 3, 280,000 have to die that's nothing right? Gtfo of my @ fool
2
@toddwilson626 if you ACTUALLY do the math its not 99.99% anyway, 500,000 isn't 0.01% of 328,000,000. Everyone hasn't contracted covid either . You listen to people who put money above the community and care more about their income than their neighbors.
2
@toddwilson626 Of COVID-19 patients who died, 83.29% had a preexisting comorbidity, while 16.71% did not. To say 0.01% of healthy people die is not true so continue to talk or your a** like a fool🤦. Btw I assume you mean no comorbitie when you say"healthy people" so you better not have Respiratory diseases, Circulatory diseases,Any Cancer ,Alzheimer disease, dementia or diabetes just to start.. Do you have any idea how many people in usa have diabetes????? More people than the entire population of switzerland have diabetes in usa . F em is what you're saying🤷 just so you know.
2
@blakeberlin6295 government isn't seizing property or anything like he claims.Private property isn't being taken for public use, you're still under contract can be sued and there are stipulations to the moratorium such as minium payments. Eviction suspension is extended until september now so what is he right about EXACTLY? He's fear mongering about communism when usa doesn't do anything remotely close to communist policy. Again mortgage owners have plenty of options what is he right about exactly?
2
@blakeberlin6295 btw IDC about your credentials of being a land lord . y'all put money and property above the safety of community and peoples lives
2
@blakeberlin6295 so all your tenant are going to go file bankruptcy???.... Righttttttttttttttt..... So you have no one under lease contract ? Righttttttttttttttt. You ain't going to like this opinion guy just a warning .... Honestly idc this is capitalism reap what you sow and anyone who reference themselves as a" lord" I don't really think you understand hard times to begin with lmao. You've been having people pay your mortgage and bills for decades probably and now that capitalism comes and you have to pay its treasonous.😂 . If you truly believe all your tenants are going to go bankrupt you should recognize the need for eviction protection lol. INSTEAD YOU'RE SELFISH AND APATHETIC. It's easier to miss a couple months of rent than to be kicked out for not having job etc. The state isn't seizing or taking your property for public use . More ppl would've been effected allowing evictions so tbh idc about you a lord not being able to collect money from ppl to pay your own bills . This is capitalism not COMMUNISM lmfao
2
@blakeberlin6295 you literally want to put your own property and money above the safety of community and peoples lives. Fyi
2
@blakeberlin6295 you're confusing , you just said or seem to imply your property is being taken because if all your tenant file bankruptcy then legally and technically the gov just took your property for public use. That's what I thought you were saying atleast. I'm not saying it's ok to be squatter not pay rent and break contracts. I'm just saying currently because of PANDEMIC it's not unconstitutional or illegal to suspend evictions. Mortgage holders have options even with moratorium in effect . Obviously some will take advantage of landlords but I believe more ppl need protection because of jobs closing than mortgage holders. If this was not during pandemic then we have a problem that I would agree. Imo community and lives ALWAYS above property and money without hesitation. Again because of virus I believe it's justified, imagine the fallout from everyone being evicted... It's much worse than landlords missing a couple months rent.
2
@blakeberlin6295 btw because someone filed bankruptcy a lease is not voided. You could still pursue back rent
2
@tingli9823 that copy paste you did... You missed the party where it says "PUBLIC DANGER" . the pandemic you know covid is public danger.

@j c look at this guy😂. Just driving through in my tesla to belittle the peasant 🤣. Cheers mate💩🧠
