Biden was clutching his desk when presented with his 81st birthday cake. When Putin did the same it was a sign that he was gravely ill.

How can Russia enter into negotiations now after being taken for double-crossed in Minsk and (regarding the good will pullback from Kiev at least) in Istanbul? Fool me once, shame on you; fool me three times...?

@funkydanieluk they hadn't gained territory, they mostly just parked on roads around Kiev. It looked impressive on a map, but they did not send enough men to take Kiev, only to force negotiations. It was a success, and was ended when it had served its purpose. They no longer need to negotiate, they can impose a governorship on what remains of the country.

The Kiev Independent reported that that place was entered by UKR troops seeking to deal with conspirators, after the Russians withdrew. They deleted the report when the narrative became clear, but the negotiators would have known what really happened, and that would be why, as Alexander stated, it played no part in the decision to end what had been agreed.

@JosephBisio there was no consideration of "giving up a land bridge" because they never wanted the war in the first place, so were satisfied with the existing border. They had been negotiating for months to avoid it, and the first thing they did after entering the country was to have more negotiations. There is no evidence of a Russian involvement in that place you mentioned. There were no such reported casualties there before Ukraine sent in troops to deal with supposed collaborators, and the vixtims shown around the world had white armbands. There was also video of UKR troops shooting prisoners in a dairy, yet Russia was able to negotiate. Also, search "dailymail 11284819 taking" Zelensky handled the situation as badly as he possibly could. He has no right to blame anyone else, the buck stops with him.

@JosephBisio an agreement had been initialled and both sides knew the allegations were false (see my previous comment). There was video of UKR atrocities, but Russia was still able to negotiate, so there should be no reason that baseless claims about what Russians supposedly did would prevent UKR negotiating.

At the rate they are pushing people to the front lines, there will be a Ukrainian military until there is no Ukrainian person.

Apparently the British Prime Minister was only following orders!
