  1. The idea to lower the emphasis of a battleship with 4-gun-turrets was pretty well, even due to the fact that the RN fought most times in superiour numbers and not against multiple targets. But the french 4-gun-turret construction seemed to be more well-engineered than PoWs/KGVs. The reason of the miserable british battleship constructions after WWI was obviously produced by the permanent superiourity of the RN, which slowed any development down. KGV-class ships were designed to get sunk in battle.
