  1. In the vid MG42 is shown with 2 legs (800 meters range), with 3 legs-mount this gun achieved a remarkable higher range of 3000-3500 meters. The most well known MG42 gunner was obviously Heinrich Severloh, who shot 12.000 bullets with his MG42 and 400 with carabines against allied invaders at Normandy 1944, Omaha Beach on 6th of June 44.
