  1. Indeed electricity in the UK is expensive, as are 'all' utilities, though it was the Indian company Tata' that killed British Steel, as the owners, it was their poor sales strategy and management that ran it into the ground.

  3. Age old ? Not really, since the time of the Industrial Revolution until recently, Britain has only ever raised living standards for Britons, and indeed the rest of the world. Has it not ?
