  1. She's dreaming. Cap the price, Then the companies go broke because they are paying higher prices. What will happen is the government will bail them out/give them the $ difference. Then you pay via taxes later. Its like building a house now when prices of materials are high, but the government wants to reduce homelessness. Who is going to buy a house thats expensive? All that happens is funds, developers, the rich etc buy them up and rent them out at high prices which the poor can't pay anyway
