Dna and genes propagate ,, themselves" not the species as whole. Certain traits like altruism are favoured because it is more beneficial to work together and thus increase the chance for successful gene replication. Keeping species alive is an effect not main starting point.

Do you have a problem with the idea because it concerns human beings? We could discuss the matter as it pertains to the different breeds and temperaments of dogs if you like. The basic principles are the same.* I have no problems with descriptive and evaluative standpoints but when its fused with ,,IS-OUGHT" fallacy, Id rather forget any chance for reasonable discussion.

@lawrencethompson8996 if anything people with children are participating in rat-race, not toward a victorious abstract end goal by getting more and more better, faster, stronger and smarter along the way. Evolution is just an observable phenomenon not agency driven will. For some reason people keep making the same naturalistic fallacy all the time when it comes to natural selection and evolution.

@PointNemo9 Natural selection is not agency driven phenomenon. The fact that under certain condition ones genetical material prevails is not caused by inherent need, desire or certain codex by which nature demands specie's to propagate.
