The definition is: “Terrorism (from the Latin word terror, panic) is the commission of serious violence, or serious threat thereof, WITHOUT LAWFUL GROUNDS, for a political or religious purpose. In most understandings of what terrorism is, it must involve illegal violence, usually linked to civilians and victims. This means that Hamas is not a terrorist organization but a resistance movement that even has the right to use violence. Israël, together with the US are the terrorists because the occupation is not a legal ground.

I agree with Yahya Sinwar that the action on October 7th 2023, with the goal to end the illegal occupation of Palestine, may not have been enough.
