I also found it repulsive to hand out the death penalty for homosexuals, for non believers, witches, and consensual sex between unmarried adults. And where there is no question that the Buddha existed historically, he denied the worship of gods, because it took away from the human experience. And likewise, satanism is an atheistic religion. Most satanists do not believe in a literal Satan, but use the imagery as something to aspire to, not only but the name “Satan” takes an established character and turns it back against the believers in the sky daddy myth. As for “sky daddy”, Christians call their deity “heavenly father” and those words are synonyms. It literally means the same thing, but is less reverent… and if god were real would not deserve reverence. There are insects whose sole purpose is to bore into the eyes of children and lay their eggs. There are children dying of hunger when the Bible says “the righteous will not go hungry.” How can I hate the Jesus if he doesn’t exist? Firstly…. I don’t hate Jesus, he doesn’t exist. However I hate the morality of the character as as he is written in the fictional book about him. It is sort of the same reason that people will cheer for the hero and boo the villain in a film or novel. Thanos isn’t real, but his character is immoral. Voldemort isn’t real, but is a detestable character. Yahweh and Jesus are proponents of slavery, genocide, and child rape. (Google it) As for your condescending “have a blessed day” , is the holier than thou equivalent of “may fairies grant your wishes today!”
