  3.  @dutchy3826  Your claim was that they decriminalized pedophilia. This law amendment has to do with registration as a sex offender and not the offense itself. This bill would exempt from mandatory registration under the act a person convicted of certain offenses involving minors if the person is not more than 10 years older than the minor and if that offense is the only one requiring the person to register. While this is still a bit disturbing it has nothing to do with what you claimed and the bill should have only been applicable, if the victim was 16 or older and misrepresented her age. Than it would have been more prudent. Usually sex offenders end up being cast away from society so sometimes people make mistakes, though I do agree with you this law Goes too far.
