AI can only harm humans, if they are programmed to. As AI is not autonomous, has no desires, feels nothing and never will.

Terminator was fantasy. Desire, only belongs to sentient beings. The real threat, is in programming AI as a weapon. Eventually we will be policed by automation, just like we go to automated tellers and checkouts.

@tennesseeheckler3014 That’s not realistic. Are you saying machines are sentient, and possess human desires ? Only beings that can experience emotional sensations, can form emotional desires. The only reason AI would self program would be based on algorithmic guidelines and parameters set by programmers. While it’s possible, human mistakes are made in the coding, such that leaves misinterpretations open, the believe that all machines would End up in a terminator reality is absurd. Any mistakes that cause harm would likely be minimal. Sorry just don’t buy such scenarios on a large scale.
