  1. Depends how far to the left. If it’s a pro labor politician, than it is not a bad thing and not all social policies are bad. But I do agree, that socialism, from the top down is bad. The issue I have with more socialist economies beside the issues with innovation, is it’s centrally controlled And when it doesn’t allow for consumer demand to steer the economy, it ends up being too limiting., Chavez did this by not allowing more agricultural production and concentrating too much on energy. But Venezuela did pretty well considering, until he died.
