Hawking is not the smartest nor the most respectable scientist in his field. He didn't even get Nobel Prize. So why is he so famed? Because he wrote some popular books? Because he has this horrible disease? I think he wouldn't be this famous if he doesn;t sit on wheelchair all day :( I know he is a great guy and I don't want to be offensive; I just don't understand why people look at him as today's Einstein.
