There are no contemporary writings of the life of Jesus outside of the hearsay written in the Bible. Jesus may have existed in history. Many people have existed in history. This isn’t evidence for a resurrection. You’ve offered exactly no evidence. All you have are, at best, second, theirs, and fourth hand accounts….form anonymous authors, with no original manuscripts. Again, what you have isn’t an authority on reality. You have claims which you can’t substantiate whatsoever.

There is no value in attacking me personally if you had facts on your side. I wasn’t alive when Washington or King Henry were alive. We have an abundance of evidence for them both. Including documents and signatures. What we have for Jesus is at best second hand claims from anonymous authors. So the level of evidence doesn’t compare. However the nature of the claims also don’t compare. There are no supernatural claims regarding Washington or King Henry 8th. There is evidence for Julius Caesar. There are also claims he was the son of God. We accept the evidence that he existed, but historians don’t accept historical supernatural claims regarding Caesar. The fact Jesus is mentioned within 20 years of his crucifixion is acceptable. This is rather mundane. This in no way substantiates any supernatural claims associated with this human being. Unprecedented doesn’t equate to factual claims. So you still have offered exactly no evidence for the existence of a god of any kind. Anything else? Consider this; The most powerful being within the universe, and outside the universe has such an important message that he leaves a complete lack of evidence.

I could probably find solid evidence of a person named Clark Kent that exists, or existed. What matters is whether or not he is bullet proof and can fly. You’re correct that there is no evidence Julius Caesar is the son of God. However, it was recorded historically that he was. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there are exactly zero first hand claims within the Bible for witnessing a resurrected Jesus. Not a single one. So what if Jesus is the most documented individual in history or mythology? That doesn’t mean any supernatural claims are true. Again the Bible isn’t evidence. The Bible makes claims. Evidence is required to support the claims. Any mundane claim is irreverent. You have exactly zero evidence for supernatural claims. None. Zero. Zilch.

So no, you don’t have any idea who the authors were. Further, there is not a single first hand claim to have witnessed a resurrected Jesus. Not one. Simply claiming there were eye-witnesses is a claim. A claim you cannot demonstrate is true. Remember, the Bible makes claims. You’d need evidence to support the claims, and you have exactly zero. Zilch. None. You don’t seem to know what a straw man argument is, either. Whether early believers trusted other zealots isn’t evidence the claims are true. It’s only evidence they were convinced. There is exactly zero evidence anywhere, at any time, that supernatural claims are true. And you can’t verify historical supernatural claims. Just accept that your confident exceeds warrant.

The best you have is second and third hand accounts, by anonymous authors, passed down verbally before being written down, and you have exactly no original manuscripts. Church record shows the names associated with the gospels are through tradition, but the authors remain anonymous. Even so, you have exactly zero first hand claims to witnessing a resurrected Jesus. It’s a completely unfalsifiable supernatural claim. And again, you are so emotional you feel a need for ad hominem attacks. This proves beyond all reason that you know for a fact your position is not justified and you have no legitimate argument.

All they have are claims from second and third hand accounts. Nothing they could say would substantiate any sort of supernatural events. Even if granted a historical Jesus, you have no way to substantiate he was bullet proof or could fly. You know this to be true. You know for certain you cannot ever demonstrate or substantiate such a claim. And remember, when you claim there were 500 witnesses, there is no evidence for such a claim. You have no names, you don’t know if they were male or female, you don’t know where they lived. It’s just another claim for which there is no evidence. It’s part of the fiction. Your confidence in your beliefs are not warranted by the evidence. You might have a difficult time coming to grips with this, so take your time. Don’t get angry. You don’t have one single example of any contemporary writing about the life of Jesus outside of the second and third hand hearsay from anonymous authors, with not one single original manuscript.

What you can’t offer is anything more than third hand accounts from anonymous authors, for supernatural events. There is zero,evidence even today for anything supernatural. What’s more likely, people being wrong or the existence of magic? Right, you don’t care that the people you’re relying on for your belief in Jesus weren’t even alive during his lifetime. They could never have met him, or seen him. They then become, at best fifth or sixth hand accounts for things that don’t happen in reality. And the part you’re going to struggle with here, is that nothing in your arguments actually convinced you personally. You already believed before you heard of these apologetics. Name one person in the Bible that makes a first hand claim to witnessing a resurrected Jesus. You can’t. There are exactly zero.

Repeating yourself demonstrates that you’re not capable of intellectual discourse. You don’t have an argument. You have claims, not evidence. Josephus, who wasn’t alive while Jesus alive, isn’t a first hand witness to any supernatural claim. Tacitus, who wasn’t alive while Jesus was alive, isn’t a first hand witness. This makes them fifth or sixth hand hearsay for things they weren’t even alive to witness. All you have are anonymous authors, repeating third or fourth hand claims, for events which don’t happen. You were not convinced by the evidence you’re offering either. You’ve just proven your arguments are dishonest, and that you know your beliefs are untrue. Thanks for conceding.
