It is sexually abusive to forcibly sexually repress someone on the unsubstantiated basis that they are either inherently victims or rapists, as numerous studies have empirically confirmed the relationship between sexual repression and psychological consequence incurred by it.

Meta analyses have confirmed that consensual statutory relationships do not cause harm, and that the adolescents involved in them do not describe the relationships as being predominantly negative at rates higher than adult/adult relationships describe their own.
