So how is India paying for the submarines? I can't imagine the rupee being that desirable, its not even fully convertible for international transactions.

@kaonashi93 transactions must be rationale, so there must be more than just nations selling submarines to India. Either India is paying with something practical or it is offering additional perks in exchange for the submarines.

@kaonashi93 I didn't specifically mention the rupee in my response but if read again how I reason that "transactions must be rationale" you would realize that I was referring to the rupee not being desirable. I have not shifted the goal post,
