@rogerforsman5064 Isn't the WOKE culture an umbrella term nowadays for politically correct views on gender, capitalism, racism and identity politics? I've no idea what it stood for from the beginning, but that's how I interpret what people mean when referencing it today

@eightiesmusic1984 It's interesting that you bring up "derogatory" and how that is unacceptable for you. I actually believe that what we see here is 'masculine energy' clashing with 'feminine energy' (or culture). Many men use semi-derogatory slurs to each other, and if someone from the outside heard they might assume it's toxic or whatever. But it's actually a bonding mechanism in more masculine settings, almost like an extension of rough and tumble play. It's meant for the opposite of what might be interpreted. Not saying anyone has to like it, but we're all different, and it is ok to like that way of communicating.
