@amasion2882 Agreed. I think she was unjustly murdered--albeit court-sanctioned--true, she may have been a 'harpy' and was cruel to Mary (I read many accounts of her of doing so). But still, it didn't justify the beheading at all. Another divorce would not do for Henry. Anne was under a 'shadow' after he divorced Catherine of Aragon, even Elizabeth's status was questioned despite Anne and Henry were married (after the divorce). Only after Catherine's death, that Anne's status was stronger as a queen. Henry can't go through another divorce, especially if his new queen actually birthed a son he wanted (which happened), it'll cast a potential shadow. This was all in addition to the possibility of Anne remarrying and having son, then Henry's 'virility' would be come to questions.
