  1. I wish they'd show more of the storyline, the cultural nuances of Fremen v. Caladan and so on, tell more about the factions but it's ok the way it is. I enjoyed it, although first viewing, I gotta say I was a little bit disappointed with how they adapted the book, but after thinking about it and rewatching it two more times, I gotta say, yeah, I understand why they had to cut out so many scenes (it's insane how many scenes they filmed but cut out from the movie--scenes that are pivotal too in the book), they need to focus on something and they manage to adapt it pretty well, imo. I can't wait for the 2nd one. I hope it won't disappoint.
