  1. I don't think you're disrespectful for voicing your opinion. I was in this lady's position a while back in my 20s. While I was very encouraged to pursue my education because as Qui said, a woman with education is almost as good as a boy- I also was pressured heavily by my parents to get married and settle down. I was even engaged to a man I was incompatible with (he def. didn't treat me right) for almost 5 years but finally I found the strength to break it off and stay true to myself. I'm a happily married woman now, but I remember the pressure very well when I was in my 20s and all the name callings (and believe me when I say, they didn't think it was wrong to name call me every name in the book as a way to pressure me to get married and settle down--they thought what they're doing was the right thing). Yeah, it was horrible. I'm just glad she remains happy and single and thriving (if you check her twitter, this short movie was shot 5 yrs ago, she's in Germany now).
