  1. A majority has discovered it can vote itself licence to be irresponsible yet continue to receive unlimited largesse from the public treasury. It re-elects those who will pander to it. Socially, demographically, economically, financially, judicially, USA is at, maybe beyond, a significant tipping point. Recovery might be possible but, then again, might not happen. Sad to hear Ainsley say recently “We gotta compromise our values to win elections because people ain't feeling us”. We have principles; if you don't like them, we have others? America must reject illusions of debt-based consumerism . . . . an infinite world of pleasure with no foundation of morality - or see an end to current freedom and prosperity.
