@Albert_K_Bender Those "Limeys" had been at war, suffering immensely, for more than two years by this time, when the USA came in officially. We did appreciate you help, still do, but it came at a cost. The UK simply supported the wishes and intentions of the relevant country.

@user-cg7uv3mh9f All debts were paid in full - and more besides.

@paigetomkinson1137 We don't know, didn't know, but made some good guesses. Much of our supply was, of course, for political reasons.

@paigetomkinson1137 Good points, but none refutes any of my own. Matériel supplies were as much about politics as logistics. "Red Army would have eventually prevailed over the Wehrmacht" Undoubtedly correct, but how long would 'eventually' be? Whilst the red army was fighting, so were the western Allies, who wanted a swift end to it all. Prolongation of conflict would have cost us heavily, in blood and treasure, unless/until Berlin were nuked . . .

@sanderjutte8493 Israel is in it's traditional, historic location.

Interesting - at 36:38 see the name on the aircraft steps "British Airways". Was it not "Imperial Airways" at that time?

In his book, "Final Solution: The Fate of the Jews 1933-1949", David Cesarani OBE is at pains to relate how puzzled were the Jews at the increasing amount of hateful legislation coming their way. They couldn't fathom it, for they were hard-working, law-abiding citizens of Germany. For the first few years, it could not be comprehended, for nothing like it had happened [save for the episodes in Armenia and SW Africa, then barely known about] and eventually even WW1 veterans were included.

Keeping mudslimes from free countries is reasonable, but no need to kill them, just contain them, elsewhere. The answer is total containment, preferably in their own countries.

@paigetomkinson1137 The USA and UK sent massive supplies of arms to the USSR, particularly trucks. Had the UK not held out in 1940, Stalin would probably have come to some sort of settlement and the USA would have fought only in the Pacific.

@paigetomkinson1137 The Russkies rode to Berlin om products from Detroit . . .

@paigetomkinson1137 Except the Nazis were never going to have an a-bomb, nor the means to deliver one . . .

@@mistergoogle1951 He may well have known, as it was the Nazis' way, but not 'responsible'. They were the decision of Germans, as were the many instances all over Europe.
