  7. Since the Citizens United ruling in 2010, dark money spending has skyrocketed. In 2012, outside groups spent over $300 million. In 2020, outside groups spent over $3 billion. Our electoral system has been turned into a playground for big corporations & the super rich.

  14. I’m sick and tired of hearing this lie peddled by the GOP and corporate media. Raising the debt ceiling does not increase spending or the federal debt. It simply allows the government to pay bills it has already taken on— and defaulting on the debt would be catastrophic.
