Well, it seems like Trump's chances in 2024 are about as promising as a pogo stick in a mud pit. MAGA might be about 10% of the population, but that's like being the cool kid in the corner of a party no one else wants to attend. Trump's winning streak as the GOP's golden child came to a screeching halt after his one-hit wonder in 2016 – a political Cinderella story, if you will.
Calling Trump toxic is an understatement; he's like the guy who brings a bag of drama to every potluck. Conman, liar, racist – it's a resume that even a dumpster fire would be embarrassed by. His fan base may be a bunch of reactionary racists, but even they can't inflate his popularity balloon enough to keep it afloat.
African Americans give him the side-eye, and women have a particular distaste for him. Inserting fingers where they don't belong? That's a skill set even toddlers outgrow. And let's not forget his grand contribution to destroying bodily autonomy – a real crowd-pleaser.
Trump's speaking to the creme de la creme of ignorance in America. It's like he has a hotline to the Department of Redundancy Department. Fortunately, winning an election takes more than the support of the village idiots. So, Republicans, maybe it's time to start redecorating that coping corner. It looks like Trump's 2024 dreams are as elusive as his tax returns.
