  2. It certainly is not 100 years old. The material is preserved and a paper has been written about how it happens by Dr Szwetzer. The stuff is basically like bioplastic and there isn't anything that can digest it. The age of the fossil is determined from the layer it is found in. It isn't determined with jewish stories.

  3.  @zm1786  : Because evidence matters. Because measurements matter. The layers that make up rock have different ages. They have been dated. It is always predictable in which layer a certain creature's fossil will be found in. There are no dinosaur fossils in 1 million y old layer. In such layers, you can find familiar fossils such as chimpanzees and humans, cats, many other mammals, reptiles, etc.

  5. No, that would destroy the sample and the result would be junk. It would give a max age that the instrument can report, such ad 50,000 years. Age of fossils are determined by the layers they are found in. Also, you can't teach creationists science. They don't understand what theory means.

The age of the Earth is measured to be 4.56 billion years old, not 65 BILLION. Perhaps you are thinking of the KT boundary (now called the CT boundary) region's age, which is 65 million to 66 million years old. NOT BILLION. The age of the Sun is estimated to 4.7 billion based on spectroscopic analysis, black body radiation simulation, and other methods. The age of the universe is at a minimum 14.7 billion years old. I won't lie to you. Studying all of this will take you many years and you will never become an expert. If you want simple answers, go with judaism. Their bible is only 600 pages. If you want to go with science, there is so much that you will never be able to read it all in a lifetime. ADDITIONAL: About 6 million years ago, some apes split into 2 or more groups. One of these lineages lead to homo sapiens. Human civilization is about 10,000 years old. Humans left Africa 70,000 years ago. Humans settled in Asia, about 50,000 years ago.
