"Hell is no joke" "Jesus is coming back very soon. Repent and save your souls." ==It is a fear based religion. It utilizes people's emotions against them. A robber does the same thing by going into a store and pointing a gun at the cashier. Science teaches us to always ask: What are your sources? Is this book really written by some gods? Is it written by ancient jews who learned how to write? What evidence is there? Can the evidence be checked out by many people? Why does christianity and islam have hell and they became popular but judaism does not have it and it remained small?

I became an atheist at age 12. It is better to learn about various religions + science that way, you have a better idea as to what religions are about and also how the universe works. Now that I am much older, reading the bible helps me understand better how ancient people lived (jews) and how they saw the world. It is interesting from the point of view of anthropology.
