  2.  @miscellaneoushistory9924  I happen to think that’s more like government overreach. Here’s why: Federally regulating discrimination and equality is a waste of time and energy. Ofc you should hire ppl without judging their identity, but how much ppl work for the government? You can regulate all you want, but no oil company in Alberta or North Dakota is gonna give a dime about your legislation. And for urban area, it’s not like companies do not have some “diversity training” already. These “anti-discriminatory” laws are nothing but virtues signalling. So that’s why I believe lgbtq movement should not lobby for government regulation.

  3.  @miscellaneoushistory9924  was it the bill that eliminated discrimination? Or was it simply the social norm to not judge ppl base on their skin colour? Or more judges siding with equality using case law? I’m simply pointing out, the legislative branch has very little power on social issue. You know, unless they live in middle-of-nowhere Utah and is voting on things like abortion
