@SorenPenrose Yes, they resume their duties AFTER they return from maternity leave but when they are pregnant, it is a liability for the women and baby.

@11111110 What was sexist about what he said? As a woman who was pregnant twice while in the military, we are limited in our duties once pregnancy is confirmed. Women don’t fly, ride on ships, go to war or combat zones when pregnant.

@mockfanatik They may lie about that on their PR stunt to save face but they know there are liability issues why pregnant women don’t fly or remain on ships once the pregnancy is confirmed.

@kingabstract2288 You do know combat training is NOT the only high risk job in the military. As a 20 year RETIRED Navy veteran, I have NEVER conducted combat training. Maybe your brain don’t comprehend, I’m talking as a keyboard warrior but from a female veteran point of view who’ve had pregnancies while in service and as a senior leader had to shift people duties because of their pregnancy status.

@SorenPenrose Do you know on commercial airlines, there are restriction for pregnant women flying? Why do you think that exists? As for service women, it is health and liability issue for pregnant women to fly, be in ships, go to combat, plus because of occupational hazards and health assessments that are done within certain environments. They can’t resume their duties when they return from maternity leave. Although there are policies that states they are not to deploy for x amount of months after pregnancy.

I’m retired Navy and remember when they tried to drop ‘man’ as in Seaman and many other rates that ends with ‘man’ from the Navy ratings a few years ago trying to be gender inclusive and it was canceled within a few months. When this gets canceled because of the pushback and stupidity, it’s not going to be reported on msm.

@SorenPenrose This depends on what their duty was before their pregnancy. If the women were stationed on a ship or with a squadron, they will have to be reassigned to another job. Although, some assigned at a squadron could be limited to desk duty while staying with their command, it depends on the work environment restrictions safety concerns. But women can still work up until they give birth. FYI, I worked for 40 weeks, 5 days, no bed rest until my 41st week when I had to stay in the hospital until I gave birth. I wasn’t being a super hero, I just didn’t have any medical complications until that 41 week appointment.

There are health, safety and liability issues with those women in those billets and all those leaders lying to media knows that but are playing dumb to satisfy woke supremacy because they know no one will question what they say.

He policies said 20 weeks but they are transferred as soon as the pregnancy is confirmed. Tell me, how comfortable will a flight suit be wearing pregnant having to go to the bathroom frequently to take off the entire suit instead of just pulling down a pants. Do tw think women just have to pull out to go? ~ 20 year Navy veteran.

Yes, some women, in all industries, do mischievous things like get pregnant on purpose but men do mischievous things to get out of their military assignments too. I knew men who punched bulkheads (Navy ship walls) to break their hand, threw themselves down ladders (shipboard stairs), stalked women and used the suicide line to get out of the Navy. The military is unique but it is a job like many others where you have high risks jobs and desk job that BOTH men and women fill billets to. Service members can raise children in the military like how anyone else in other professions raise children. You want to single out women raising children and having to go to war but how do men raise children and go to war? Don’t you think there aren’t single parents dads in the military? I knew many. By the way, I’m a 20 year retired veteran, a mom and when was in a dual military marriage.

@11111110 Who said it is stupid to have maternity? I didn’t. Tucker didn’t. His discussion was specific to ‘maternity flight suits, combat and scuba gear.’ What Biden bragged about. Yes, women serves in multiple roles and remain active while pregnant. Again, I’m retired from the Navy, had 3 different pregnancies, 1 live birth. I’m speaking from my experience, having been stationed on an air craft carrier, not stationed on but frequent Air Force bases for medical/dental, groceries, PT, child care, basically all of my needs except living there, those who wore flight suits were all pilots or worked within that field or community. As a former cryptologist/IT wouldn’t wear a flight suit UNLESS I was stationed with a helo squadron or that community. Not being on the carrier but being within those air communities.

@stacihilliard3761 For me, it seems like you just want to be offended by Tucker and you did exactly at you accuse Tucker of doing by choosing to use dissect only his talking point while ignoring biden comment was left open to scrutiny. But we are living in a time when msms will never comment on biden wrongdoing, (the exact opposite from how they treated the previous administration) so when one person does, people attack. As for him pointing out Austin race got him hired, when this press secretary loves to say ‘person in x position is a woman,’ shouting out identity politics not experience for the appointment to that position, you are being selective. If you don’t see something suspicious or actually unethical with SECDEF previous job coming from a top position in one of the top defense contracting companies, when DoD is the largest portion of the government budget, the reality of the military industry complex, bidding for billion dollar defense contracts, it seems your complaints about Tucker report is being led by the same identity politics this administration focuses on the superficial and not experience or logistics. I don’t watch Tucker but you claim he is using ‘red meat’ and then ‘criticize his base.’ Do you do that to cnn, msnbc and others where some of their on air personalities spout ‘red meat for their base’ biases as well? It seems like that’s how they attract their audience but only one side gets criticized.

@stacihilliard3761 You can say the same why biden handlers wrote for him to read something or promoted what is logistically not accurate without them doing basic research on its accuracy. It goes both ways. The whole thing is a distraction and a waste of time and money on research, development and implementation for something that makes no sense. My problem with this promoting a one piece maternity flight suit makes no sense. Think about this, your pregnant with a growing belly and butt, having to go to the bathroom frequently, every time you have to pull down that one piece suit, pull it down from over your shoulders, wiggle it down past your belly and butt under your knees, do you think that’s more comfortable than just pulling down a pants, leaving your top in place. It is about the logistics of it. How many one piece pants-like not dresses maternity clothing have long sleeves? The one piece pants-like that is available for regular maternity wear are normally overalls with snap closures. FYI, flight suits/coveralls are tailored for men because it zips in both directs so ‘he’ can zip up, pull out, pee, zip down, finish. Personally speaking, I don’t see how that can be changed to better suit women while keeping its functionality. Going back to the distraction, this made the rounds on the news and continue to be talked about meanwhile biden dismantled Title IX protection for biological women by adding identity in it. No one is talking about that. The reason Title IX was implemented is no longer relevant since male bodies can now take women scholarships and opportunities they were once purview to. Why isn’t that headline news?

@stacihilliard3761 Tucker quoted biden who was promoting maternity flight suits during that press conference. He said, maybe the suits have been around for awhile but they never heard of them. Does women flying military jets, pregnant as well, make the best pilots? The DoD measures everything with extensive research. So maybe the Pentagon can show that but he’s confident biden haven’t seen those numbers. The problem with this issue is biden reading a prepared script not knowing or caring how ridiculous it sounded.

I agree with you. I was planning on Blaxit, black people relocating to other countries, but it’s because of COVID, I haven’t left yet. What’s sucks is with all those ‘relief’ packages, it is affecting the value of the dollar, the exchange rate and the dollar is losing value.

Tucker, don’t back down, don’t apologize. The military is being used as a social experience, as the guinea pig for other industries to follow because, ‘well, if the military can do it, everyone else can too.’ They did that PR stunt knowing they are lying about the role of pregnant women knowing their duty status changes to limited/light duty as soon as their pregnancy is confirmed because they become a liability risk. All this while they are ignoring the implementation of policies that put male bodies in female intimate spaces when they haven’t done anything to reduce sexual assault/harassment problems. How do women feel about that? And let’s not forget he China threat. They want to accept feminized men, put them in female spaces and punish masculine men because of their political affiliation. How messed up is that. I’m thankful to be retired.
