  1. 0:04. Japan is having higher divorce rate! It's one of the signs, the real meaning of marriage has been lost in many people. Add to that is the lack of sexual morality in Shinto Japanese thinking. 3:41. Their reasons for getting married are so shallow. No wonder they think of divorce at once as soon as the fleeting feeling of being in love wears out.
